"Code Geass - Lelouch of the Rebellion R2" Leaked out on Internet by Accident Before its TV Air

The anime "Code Geass - Lelouch of the Rebellion R2" leaked out and shown on the Internet by accident before its official Television air date. According to the press release of Bandai Channel that handles the web release of "Code Geass - Lelouch of the Rebellion R2" and Code Geass Production Committee, the part that was leaked out and shown on the net was part of episode #3 scheduled to be shown on April 20 (Sun) from 17:00 on the television. That particular part was originally selected to verify unauthorized submission on the internet.

The source of this problem was caused by the mishandling of the operation process by the digital content company Solid Exchange Corporation, that has been entrusted to handle to check the illegal contribution on the Internet. Around 17:00 on April 15 that particular anime portion was confirmed, but soon after it was deleted. The television anime show will be aired as scheduled, and the Bandai Channel will reexamine its operation procedure soon.

In the opening anime of "Code Geass - Lelouch of the Rebellion R2" they claim that "It is prohibited by law to distribute the anime on the Internet without the permission of the copyright holder", and trying to restraint unauthorized internet distribution. However, they are also actively using Internet by distributing the same anime for free after certain period of time.

Solid Exchange Corporation is a company that has NTT Data and IMAGICA as its big shareholders. Their concept is to create digital contents for broadband distribution and to manage production control, and to assist in distribution. Despite this was an artifactual mistake, the incident had shown the risk of handling video contents on the Internet.
